Leaving on a jet plane

Well I just got off work and now it's quarter til 6 in the morning and I'm about to head to the airport..but I wanted to leave a post before I disappear from the blog world for awhile

vacation.  "leisure time away from work devoted to rest or pleasure"

'Google define' simply reminded me of what I'm doing the next 2 weeks...well really it's 12 days, but I round up to make myself feel better. :)  I created a mental list that I will share with my blog

rest
I will not be waking up at 4am.
I will not be working at 4am.
I will not be stressing out about job applications, moving into an apartment, or bills...at 4am (or any time)
I am forcing myself to avoid the internet for the most part...I find myself wasting too much time surfing the web, facebooking people, or being on twitter instead of enjoying and living my own life

pleasure
I will enjoy the beach, golfing, cooking, cooler weather, sunsets at 11pm, talking to my 86 year old grandfather on the back porch as he smokes his cigar, playing blackjack with my legally-blind grandmother, making memories with family I don't get to see that often, and focus on living in the moment

Next stop..Chicago then onto northern MI :) :)
