Wow, I've been a total slacker with blog updates!
This summer was truly an awesome one. I was lucky to have most of July off, so per tradition I went to northern Michigan and met up with most of my extended family. It truly is a small paradise - and a lot cooler than southeast Texas.

After returning we headed up to beautiful Austin for one of my favorite couples' wedding. I had such a good time being a bridesmaid and the wedding was beautiful with a reception set over Lake Travis. Amazing! Congrats M & D :)

And now sadly, summer is slowly exiting. I leave for a tournament in Portland next week and then start graduate school the day after I get back. Looking forward to a fun fall!
I had no idea there were sand dunes next to Lake Michigan! How neat! Dito on the amazing wedding! I can't believe how fast the weekend went. Have fun in Portland!
ReplyDeletemichigan looks amazing!! i read a bunch of (food) magazines at the beach and the newest bon appetite has an article about how mario batali has a place in traverse city that he goes to every summer and he talks about how much he loves that part of michigan...
