Yes, it's a pretty state with lots of trees, rivers, and rolling hills. The people are nice and friendly...but everyone is a razor back fan. Now, coming from Texas, where football is king...I have no problems with fan spirit and support for your team.
The razorback fans (ie everyone in the state) do this strange cult-ish calling when they are happy or excited. They yell out "wooo pig soooie" with these strange jazz hand type moves. I almost died the first time I saw it because I had no idea what people were doing and yelling about...(on the golf course!!)
But they continued...yelling and waving their hands around in their razorback gear on the tee box..on the fairway..on the green..when someone made a putt..when the winner was announced. Basically for everything.
Now, call me biased, but I much rather prefer the less obnoxious and less-cultish 'WHOOP!' of a Texas Aggie. It's just classier.
What do you think?
If you went when my dad lived there, you could have met some none Razorback Arkansasans. lol It is very pretty. He was in Little Rock area. Who doesn't love the whoop!
ReplyDeletelol omg i dont know if i could take that - at least the whoop is short and sweet haha
ReplyDeleteim glad youre back from arkansas - i think your assessment of it being about as fun as lubbock is probably pretty accurate haha :)
