I got back from Georgia on Thursday -- had an awesome but short trip back home. It was so great to see all of my family and especially fun to have a joint birthday celebration with my grandma. Played some golf with my dad and uncles, saw 'Adjustment Bureau' with my cousins (good movie), and got to eat at our favorite Cuban restaurant. There's nothing better than being able to catch up and laugh with family.

Now on to some bigger news -- I gave my two week notice yesterday! Technically my last day will be the 29th. I had a final interview with the CEO of the new company on Friday and things are looking really good. I'm still waiting on official word on Monday from my new boss, butttt they pretty much said they wanted a girl and I was the top candidate. It's scary leaving the security of my job but I had to give notice as soon as I could to have my schedule open for traveling asap.
I don't want to get too excited until there is an official offer on the table, but I found out all this info on my last day in Georgia. And while I'm not exactly heading for the Frisco Bay...I will most likely have to be in Palm Springs, California by the end of the month for my first tournament. So the plan for now is to pray, hopefully start the new part time job at the end of the month, and continue it while going part time to MBA school at Univ of Houston (I accepted their offer last week) in the fall! I'm so blessed to have some change in my life -- I can only hope it leads to bigger and better things.

ahhhhhhhh! congratulations!! i'm so excited for you! :)
