I'm heading to S.an Antonio this weekend (yay an actual weekend on a weekend!) for a girls weekend with one of my best friends. We'll be hanging out with her other bridesmaids and having a good time.
Work has been so busy lately...everyone is flying this month. my 8 hour shift flies by in what feels like just one hour. The downside is it's exhausting with no breaks and not being able to eat, but the good thing is staying busy makes the week go by faster! ah, life as a meteorologist.
On a side note, I'm completely obsessed with The B.achelor this season. I'm pretty much in love with Jake...have any brothers out there Jake?? I'm also getting really into photography. Since high school I've been really into photoshop (I took a class in it senior year which I loved!!) but now I'm thinking about spending some of my hard earned money on a real camera...and move on up in the photography world...what I have my eye on now is this:
I'm pretty much obsessed so expect a lot more pictures of my food creations and experiments and probably flowers and such.
I'm also pretty much obsessed with s.arah palin's book which I'm reading right now. So interesting to learn more about someone whose made it so far.
Let's see...that's all I can think of at 2am...trying to stay up a few more hours to switch to nights tomorrow. So I'll leave you with another food shot because almost every post I've had talks about or has a picture of food...kinda pathetic, at least my ancestors would be proud. I'm thinking about just laying out all my food to try and entice my future husband out of the woodwork. ;)
These are homemade perogis. It's a polish dish...I had the inspiration from a little polish restaurant we went to in Atlanta over Christmas. It's basically like a pot-sticker but has potatoes, cheese, etc inside the dough. Surprisingly these little guys are a huge hit in Pittsburgh..sry its kinda hazy, picture was taken with my phone
