New Year...fresh start!

I've been bad about neglecting my blog for several weeks, so an update on the last month!

Happy New Year to all. 2009 was a good one, but I'm hoping 2010 will be even better!

We had a great Christmas back home in Atlanta. I struggled with having to leave so soon because of work, but I'm glad we were able to be there for about a week. The drive was long but so worth it. We spent most of our days visiting relatives, playing golf, cooking/baking, and just enjoying some time off. I love my big family!

I always like the new year because I feel like it's a new start. 2009 was full of memories: graduations, a trip to Europe, getting my first real job, many goodbyes, and many firsts. For 2010 I have several hopes (I don't like the word resolution):

1. To be more thankful, deepen my faith, and complain less about menial things
2. To better friendships with those far away or close by
3. To read more instead of watching a ton of reality shows
4. To find a job with regular hours and not be afraid to start in a new city
5. And from one of my favorite movies, The Holiday, to have more gumption

And now, a few pictures from my trip home:
Me, my grandma, and mom on Christmas Eve
I was in charge of Christmas dinner this year -- my beef wellingtons
My mom and I attempted a yule log for the first time -- so fun to decorate
Some cousins at my Aunt's house for dinner

Me and my grandparents with their hats haha
