If Caesar & Aphrodite were to get married...

I bet they would have this dish at their wedding feast!

Yes, I realize Aphrodite is a mythical goddess and was centuries apart from Caesar. Side note -- I really dislike greek mythology and could never get into it -- but this combination of 'Rome meets Greece' was a perfect culinary adventure! What's on the menu?...Greek Pizza *I'm sure my Italian ancestors are rolling in their graves*

This actually was a very easy recipe and tasted delicious. I can't take full credit for it as I found the recipe on the internet, but I did take a couple of short-cuts (premade pizza dough, etc) to make it an even faster and simpler mid-week meal. Best paired with a glass of red wine!

Some of my snapshots to see how these two cultures collided --

Chop 1/2 red onion - I caramelized half of it in brown sugar

Slice green & black olives, artichokes, and tomatoes
Layer mozzarella, feta, your sliced veggies, & oregano over your dough
and put in the oven for 15 minutes at 425 until golden brown :)
finisci di mangiare!
