I know M touched on this awhile ago...but how did we become so grown up?! and so fast!? I have copious amounts of shower and wedding invitations on my fridge..even a baby shower for my friend J at work...whose apparently only accepting boys. I remind him daily that I think he's having a girl :)
More importantly when we grow up -- we have to do some things that are not so fun -- pay bills, go to work, look for sales so we can pay rent, move out of our parents' house...hmm still working on that one.
Tomorrow I will embark on another first -- jury duty
Many people dread it -- taking the bus downtown, getting lost, waiting in ridiculous lines only to be let go early...I, however, am super excited!! Not only is it an adventure but I get to miss a 2-10pm shift, yipee!!! I love 5 day work weeks...here's to hoping I get a month long trial! (not really, but it would be interesting..)
You're the second person I know that got their first jury duty this week! lol Small world! I think it could be fun. To bad I'm still a student and not eligible. lol

ReplyDeletei always thought jury duty would be fun too haha - i can get summoned after school but lawyers rarely get seated on juries. lame.
