Things I don't get

1.)  This crazy weather!!!  I've never seen a spring so active with tornadoes and severe weather.  Enough is enough, Mother Nature.  Makes you wonder if God is trying to tell us something.  Needless to say I've been glued to the weather channel for the past several days.

2.)  Harold Camping -- the idiot man who said the world would end May 21.  Not that I believed him, but I do have to say that he should be ashamed of himself for not admitting he's wrong and continuing to scare people with Scripture into believing the world will end Oct 21.  What an idiot - he should read Matthew24.
3.)  Why can't the Queen relax a little.  I'm definitely not the biggest Obama fan, but this video of him toasting the queen is just so awkward to watch -- he obviously messed up the etiquette of when he was supposed to toast her and she just left him hanging.
4.)  I saw Bridesmaids with my friend Michelle yesterday.  It was a really funny movie -- but the title should really be Bridesmaid, as most of the story is about Kristen Wiig.  Needless to say, it made me excited to be a bridesmaid in just a few short months :)

    1) Yes! I am mentally worn out from all the storm coverage. I was finally able to have a night not glued to the TV. I was almost sick to my stomach last night with it coming here...I'm ready for all sun and no rain. (I probably shouldn't say that because I'm sure we'll be in a drought at some point this summer.)

    2) This was all just ridiculous. Made for a lot of great jokes at work while we were talking about our project plans for the coming year (why have a plan if we're not going to be here?). I seriously hope no one takes the October thing seriously.

    3) I watched the video but I don't have sound on my computer...

    4) Bridesmaid(s) was hilarious. It was definitely a lot more crude than I expected which is why I guess I kept hearing it wasn't just a "chick flick".

    @ Kristina - I'm glad I'm not the only one glued to the weather channel :) & I totally agree Bridesmaids was definitely hilarious and not the chick flick i thought it'd be.

    @ Amanda - Thanks :) I'm pretty much obsessed with any dessert with lemon in it.

    when we drove back from missouri we went through joplin - even from the highway it was crazy to see...

    i saw bridesmaids too! it was definitely different than i expected it to be but it was cute :) yayyy for being a bridesmaid soon :)
