Helloooo November!

Where did the time go...How is it already November 2?!

This is a much needed update -- I've been neglecting my blog for awhile now but a lot has happened!

My mom and I flew to Biloxi 2 weekends ago to see my grandparents and do a little gambling. We stayed at the Beau Rivage which was beautiful with awesome food! We had a great time, and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to meet up!

This is part of the huge lobby of the hotel -- hundreds of pumpkins lined the lobby as well as beautiful fall flowers. The hotel was like a mini-mall with tons of shops, coffee places, restaurants, and of course the casino.

The hotel was right along the Gulf coast!

After our weekend get-away I got back and jumped straight into work and Halloween week. I had no big plans for Halloween as I had to work that night, but I was able to hand out candy to the cute little kids in our neighborhood. My brother and I attempted to carve our pumpkins 3D this year (thanks to a Food Network challenge haha!) It didn't turn out as good as I hoped, but not a bad first attempt. I'll be sticking to regular carving b/c this 3d stuff is hard!!!

Mine's on the left - it's supposed to be a witch but turned out to look like an old man to me. My brother's is on the right -- some demonic creature he wanted to carve. Oh, silly boys.

Other than that, life has been busy. I've gone wedding dress shopping with my friend Claira a couple more times -- she finally found the perfect dress! I'm so excited for her! I just got back from practicing at the range for my company tournament November 14 which is sneaking up quickly! Today is the first day of my weekend (horrayyy!) and we're going out to a pub downtown called The Front Porch...not as good a name as Buns over Texas hahaha...but it should be interesting. Unfortunately it's like forever away from my house, but I must force myself to do these kind of things...is it bad I just want to watch dwts? :)

This is my pup Molly...she hates dressing up but I forced her to wear a Halloween scarf "lick or treat". In my next life I want to come back as a dog :)
