I'm not sure if anyone else has caught episodes of the F.ood N.etwork's new food truck show on Sunday nights, but I really like it. I'm not sure if it's because it's a good mix of business and food, but it really is interesting to me to see how these food truck companies make a living.
I have to say I'm most impressed with this NomNom truck from California. They always seem to have a plan (getting in the newspaper, getting into a festival, etc) and business-wise it really pays off for them. I'm not so sure I'd want to eat their Vietnamese sandwiches over some of the other trucks' food, but their marketing and game plan win me over.
I'm not a big fan of Tyler Florence, but I will be watching this show next Sunday as they travel to Dallas! Set your DVRs!

That show looked really good, but I haven't watched an episode yet. Speaking of Food Network, where is Artie's show. It was supposed to start last week but I never saw anything for it.
ReplyDeleteIt was on on Sunday around 11.30 I think. I tivo-ed it...it was good but food network really played up the indian theme. I think it's on next Sunday. I also think you'd really like the food truck show :)
